Louisville so far in this young season are undefeated, beating the likes of Akron, Prairie View, and Arkansas State. This game in Kentucky would be their first true test if Kentucky was any good this season. The key for Louisville, without question, should be to try and contain Rajon Rondo. Easier said than done, Rondo has been averaging over 15 points, 10 boards, and 5 assists per game and is any day now going to go off for a triple double. The Starters - Kentucky <font color=""Blue"">G - Rajon Rondo G - Patrick Sparks G - Ravi Moss F - Rekalin Sims C - Shagari Alleyne Kentucky is coming off some good news that Randolph Morris will only serve a 14-game suspension but that has been the only good news for Kentucky this season. Yes they did blow out West Virginia, but losses to UNC, Indiana, and Iowa had people ranking them low or not even at all. Kentucky has to get the big 7'4" center Shagari Alleyne the ball to let his height advantage turn into some points against the much smaller David Padgett. They need to get the ball in Rondo's hands more because he is their only form of offense on their starting lineup. Prediction This is definitely a must win game for Kentucky and they just simply need to score more points. Don't be [IMGL]http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/us/sp/v/ncaaf/teams/1/50x50w/llh.gif[/IMGL]surprised if you see Sophmore Joe Crawford come in this game early because he provides a good source of offense off the bench. Reguardless I'm picking Louisville. That lineup looks too much for Kentucky to take, don't be surprised if freshman Terrence Williams, who has been looking impressive of late gets a few open looks and gets his first 20 points game of his young career. Kentucky will hang around though because it is a rivalry game, and the fact that they are at home. Louisville - 70, Kentucky - 65

Quoting STCBBall3:

Umm, Kentucky is 23rd in the AP Poll and 22nd in the ESPNUSA Today Poll.
He was probably going off of the JBB Poll, because Louisville is also #4 in both the AP and ESPN/USA Today Polls. As for the game, I see it as being a lose/lose situation for me, thanks to the ESPN Poll. Let's face it; Kentucky shouldn't be ranked, and beating them is not like beating a great unranked team like Michigan or Iowa State. Yet ESPN has them ranked a really unjustifiable #22, so if Louisville wins, it'll be considered a quality win for the Cardinals and just support their claim to the #4 spot which they don't deserve. On the other hand, if Kentucky wins, they'll probably jump as high as the top 15. It's a pretty bad situation.
Except that since it's basketball, not football, it'll be settled on the court at the end of the year.
Wow...we are finally playing a fast paced game! Rondo is finally taking it to hole for the first time all year and you all have seen what has happened...were up by 15 and have hit only three 3's. Let's hope the boys keep this up in the second half as well!
Pitino just got thrown out of the game. Louisville is getting killed, obviously they were incredibly overrated at 4. edit: Oh man, it looks like I got lied to, he's still around.
Cats get a huge win today by beating Louisville 73-61. Rondo went off for a career high of 25 pts and he also 6 assists and 3 boards. Big men Sheray Thomas and Lukasz Obrzut both had impressive games. Obrzut had a career high 11 boards and Thomas had a career high 11 pts. Overall, I was very impressed with the big win today...every single person had a solid game, IMHO!
