X-Factor:
The Mavericks have won at least one game in San Antonio in each of the last three seasons. It should be noted, but, that in the last two years, the wins came when Tim Duncan was out of the lineup. In addition, the Spurs have won 17 in a row at home, dating to last season.

Key Matchup:
    [IMG] [IMG]
    Josh Howard Vs Emanuel Ginobili

    Dallas:
    Contain Tim Duncan
    Stop the fastbreak
Dont let the Spurs get to the peremiter
    Feed the ball to Dampier

    San Antionio:
    Take advantage of shorthanded Dallas
Dont let Daniels or Howard Get hot
    Get key defensive rebounds
Out do Dallas from the freethrow line

Predection: Im going with the underdog here, hopefully our road woos wont follow us this year.. Dallas in a nailbiter

Great preview. I think the key bench player for the spurs would be Barry rather than Horry. I'm still recovering from Steve Kerr's 3 pointers from 2002 West Finals. Hope Barry doesnt repeat it again. But a key stat for the Mavs this season is it has allowed the lowest 3 point % in the league. Mavs need to keep up that stat and contain Ginobli/Bowen/Horry/Barry from 3 point range to stay in the game.

Heard there's a chance Dirk might play tonite.

Anyways, Here's my predication. It'll be tough without Dirk/Finley. I'm gonna choose Spurs by 5.

<EDIT> Hey this is cool. Same thread updated on both Spurs and Mavs forums. Great idea!!

Nice job for the Spurs. They easily took advantage of the Mavericks missing players. Tim Duncan was a beast with his stat line of 27-13-2 Blocks. Tony Parker seemed to be back on track on ihs game also handng out 9 dimes.
