Keys to the Game (For the Raptors):
    Divine intervention
*Sorry, I'm in a rush right now. Just wanted to get a game thread out in time before tip-off so discussions can begin*

    dunksworth's prediction:
Raps are a mess right now and Minny has Garnett. Hopefully God (or "the gods" depending upon your spiritual beliefs) will be on our side tonight. Raps lose by 10.

No way we can contain KG. So we must contain and stop everyone else. If we can I say Raps by 4.

Great, I didn't want to have to do it lol

    Minnesotta 97 Raptors 87

Not much to say, Bosh better rub his good luck charms, and let's not hope to get beat by more, but the Raptors always surprise.

Twolves by 12. The Raps are gonna get frustrated and start playing the game Jalen Rose styles. Too many turnovers and bad shots will cost us the game. Plus KG.

If they keep bosh and woods in so they have size, they can stand a chance. Woods is better than madsen, and if bosh has his confidence on any given night he can be efficient even against Garnet.

We just need to play team ball, distribute.

    Mo Pete 3-3 from 3
    Murray 4-4

If everyone is a threat on offense we can win. and Jalen only has 2 points, the only problem is that KG will start trying if Minni gets down in the fourth.

I say raps lose by 4.

I change my mind, raps win by 6, Bosh already has 22 and 10 with 6 min left. GO BOSH! GO RAPS!

we actually play good, when we play very very good teams. we beat san antonio, detroit, houston, and now the wolves. i like how we play with passion in these games and i only wish that we could have that kind of intensity everygame.

wow, never would've thought we'd win this game. great game by chris bosh, he really stepped up. but i didnt think matt bonner should have been ejected, he had know other decision but to foul. but this is a very big win and a good game from the raptors.

I think that our brutal schedule has been the primary cause holding us back. On our team we have quite a few players with a lot of heart and came here to win. Mitchell is new, I think our entire team has a lot of potential. And Bosh did score 24 with 11-21 shooting with 14 boards, while KG only shot 9 / 27, which is pretty ugly.

Yay my second prediction was right. Raps by 6.

I was at the San Antonio game, man it was a great comeback.

This is just stupid, we all know MILT PALACIO THE DEAN OF LAYUPS won the game for is, let's get serious here.

Bosh played great, MoPete shut me up for another game even though he's sucked for 17 of the games this season, but I liked how he was actually attacking the basket with purpose, that's all I've asked of the guy instead of throwing up wild layups.

Rafer really loves the three, it's nice when he was making it, but he's come back down to earth and keeps launching them a little too much, to many contested ones.

That shouldn't have been a foul on Bonner, but did you gusy see out players energy, Chungster that's the whole thing about HOW YOU PLAY YOUR 82 games, if you get rest you play well, when we start off having all back to backs and road games even with out team having it's problems, it's still not good...

Were Jalen and Vince mocking Cassell when he was going to the bench? [IMG]

Also Bosh must've eaten some virus that gave him super basketball powers, but look what rest can do, Minnesotta is on a back to back, and they had no energy later down the game while we were just cruising like we were 10 year old children.

Thats true og i agree but down the stretch it was basically all bosh getting those rebounds. securing our chances even mroe and mmore. BUT, i only wish Mo-Pete Was able to throw down that monsterous dunk. it like fell out of his hands [IMG] lol. still good to be back winning.

urbandnomad I was kidding about the Milt thing lol, I hope you weren't agreeing at that being true, he did play good even though he only made 50% of his free throws at the end, but he didn't turn the ball over down the stretch.

Oh alright, I'm usually joking about most of the things I say about Milt lol, I just love the guy [IMG]

Anyways, you like how Bonner ran away after hitting KG, he was like ahh!!...angry man. This is one of the differences between KG and Duncan though, down the stretch Duncan can go down low and get you a bucket through a hook shot, layup, whatever, but KG can't do that, hes a clutch player too, and he was tired, but he can't get that easy inside stuff. He's a permeter guy and he doesn't have the strength or big butt to go and bully people down low when you need a bucket.

EDIT: Anyone hear the Mitchell post game, he was talking about picking up Bonner in his car because he was walking ot the ACC, he said he likes walking in the cold weather because it reminds him of home lol
