<h3>Blazers seek first win vs. undefeated Hornets</h3>

PORTLAND, Oregon (Ticker) -- The Portland Trail Blazers will tryto knock the New Orleans out of the ranks of the undefeated whenthey meet Wednesday.
Despite strong starts by youngsters Brandon Roy, LaMarcusAldridge and Martell Webster, Portland is in the midst of itsfirst 0-3 start since the 1986-87 campaign.
On Saturday, Roy scored 23 points and Aldridge added 20 andeight boards for the Trail Blazers in an 89-80 road loss.
Webster, a third-year swingman, will see if he can continue astrong start that has him averaging 16.3 points and shooting42.9 percent (6-of-14) from 3-point range. The 21-year-oldWebster, who was taken sixth overall straight our of high schoolin 2005, had just 7.0 points last season.
Peja Stojakovic scored 36 points and connected on a career-high10 3-pointers and Chris Paul handed out a franchise-best 21assists as the Hornets improved to 4-0 with Tuesday's 118-104victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.
David West is also one of the reasons for New Orleans'impressive start. The 6-9 forward had reached double figures ineach of his four games this season.
Portland won two of the three meetings in the season series lastcampaign - winning both games here.
