SAN ANTONIO (Ticker) - The struggling Portland Trail Blazers gofor their first road win of the season when they take on the SanAntonio Spurs on Sunday.


The Blazers have lost eight of their last nine, and at 0-8 onthe road, are one of three teams in the league who have yet towin away from home.


Recent history suggests that Portland still may be looking forits first road win after it meets the defending champions. TheBlazers have lost nine in a row in San Antonio and 17 of 18 tothe Spurs overall.


The Spurs also are one of two teams who have not lost at home,compiling a 9-0 record at the AT&T Center this season.

Portland has lost 12 straight road games - dating to last season- including a 91-80 setback to Dallas on Friday.


LaMarcus Aldridge leads the Blazers, averaging 19.0 points whilereigning Rookie of the Year Brandon Roy is scoring 17.3 pointsper contest.


San Antonio has won seven of its last eight games, including a106-91 come-from-behind triumph in Minnesota. Manu Ginobiliscored 31 points and made a career-high seven 3-pointers as theSpurs outscored the Timberwolves, 32-11, in the fourth quarter.

Tony Parker is scoring 20.3 points per game, while Tim Duncan isaveraging 18.5 points 9.3 rebounds.
