MADISON, Wisconsin (Ticker) -- Wisconsin looked shaky last weekbut got a win. Iowa cannot say the same thing.


The ninth-ranked Badgers look to overcome a sluggish performancewhen they open Big Ten Conference play Saturday against theHawkeyes, who are coming off a disappointing loss.

Wisconsin was tied at the half with Football ChampionshipSubdivision squad The Citadel last weekend before posting a45-31 victory.


P.J. Hill rushed for 168 yards and four touchdowns and also hada TD reception for the Badgers, who extended the nation'slongest winning streak to 12 games. Hill's five TDs tied aschool record.


Iowa won its first two games of the campaign before absorbing a15-13 loss at rival Iowa State last Saturday when the Cyclones'Bret Culbertson booted his fifth field goal, a 28-yarder, withone second left.


Jake Christensen threw for just 118 yards but did rush for an11-yard touchdown for the Hawkeyes, who have not given up atouchdown this season.


The Badgers had lost four straight in the series before postinga 24-21 road triumph last year.


Tyler Donovan replaced injured starting quarterback John Stoccoand threw for a pair of TDs for Wisconsin.
