Leavitt's fifth-ranked Bulls look to remain undefeated thisseason when they host Central Florida in a non-conferencematchup Saturday.


Eight days after upsetting then-No. 5 West Virginia, SouthFlorida stepped out of Big East Conference action last Saturdaybut struggled to defeat Florida Atlantic, 35-23.


Benjamin Williams rushed for 186 yards and four touchdowns forthe Bulls, who overcame four turnovers for a second straightweek.


Matt Grothe passed for just 123 yards with an interceptions forSouth Florida. But he did give the Bulls the lead for good,21-14, with a 32-yard TD run late in the third quarter.

Central Florida squandered a 14-point lead in a 52-38 setback atEast Carolina in Conference USA action last week.


Kyle Israel passes for 308 yards and two TDs but also had twointerceptions for the Knights, who surrendered 35 points in thesecond half.


Kevin Smith, the nation's leading rusher at 172 yards per game,had 147 yards and a TD on 29 carries.


South Florida has beaten UCF the past two years, including a24-17 win in Orlando last year.
