*Richard Jefferson is the only Net to have appeared in all 70 contests thus far this season.

*Vince Carter has now scored at least 20 points in his last five contests,
which is the first time that he has scored at least 20 in a game
five games in a row since he scored at least 20 five games in a row from 12/20/07 to 12/29/07.

*Richard Jefferson is currently averaging 23.0 points per contest,
which is the ninth highest scoring average in the NBA this season…
if he can maintain his pace in the top ten it will mark the eighth time in team history
that a Nets player finished the season in the top ten in
scoring.

*Since joining the Nets Devin Harris has averaged 16.1 points and 6.2 assists per contest.

*With Devin Harris’ addition to the starting lineup at San Antonio on 3/ 4
the Nets have now used 13 different starting lineups this
season, which is more that they used in any of the past two seasons
(nine different starting lineup combinations in 2005-06 and 11 in
2006-07).

*With 12 double doubles on the season, Josh Boone trails only LaMarcus Aldridge, who has 13 on the year, for the most double
doubles by a second year player in the NBA this season.

*The Nets are 8-1 this year when Vince Carter attempts at least 10 free-throws.

Well, if we lose this game, I might consider jumping off a cliff or something. Just saying.

This game pretty much will sum up our season. The Knicks were the joke but we cannot beat the joke.

I want to see this lineup:

Marcus (who by some gift of god is told he isn't allowed to shoot, and he listens to Frank about this)
Ager
Vince
Sean
Stro

ONLY alley-oops FEAR

I'd love to see more of Sean and Stro, but what's with all the irrational Ager love? He's made 9 of 38 shots this year. That's abysmal. And last year he shot 31 percent for the season. And he plays most of his minutes in garbage time, when it should be easy to score. He makes Antoine Wright look like Jason Kapono. You're all better than that, but Ager's better than no one.

so you think letting him sit at the end of the bench while watching his fellow bench players get embarrassed and not letting even have a chance a good idea ?

Who said anything about shooting? ONLY alley-oops. That's why RJ can't be in that line up, he'd start to lust after his jumpshot.

[IMG] he obviously can do an alley oop. It was more like "I can't risk him taking a jump shot." [IMG]
