NFL: ATLANTA (3-8) at ST LOUIS (2-9) <h3>Rams seek first home win vs. Falcons</h3> Atlanta (3-8) at St Louis (2-9) 1:00 pm EST ST. LOUIS (Ticker) -- Long out of the playoff chase, theSt. Louis Rams look to end a drought at home. The Rams host the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday looking to end afive-game home losing streak. St. Louis appeared well on its way to halting the skid lastweek, taking a 19-7 halftime lead on the Seattle Seahawks onlyto yield 17 unanswered points in a 24-19 defeat. Despite squandering the lead, the Rams had a 4th-and-goal at the1-yard line with 29 seconds to play, but backup quarterback GusFrerotte fumbled the snap from center and was dropped for afour-yard loss. Frerotte was in the game because starting quarterback MarcBulger suffered a concussion and was knocked out of the game inthe first quarter. The defeat snapped a modest two-game winning streak for St.Louis, which opened the season with eight consecutive losses. Frerotte finished 20-of-32 for 161 yards with a touchdown and aninterceptions. It is unclear whether Bulger, who already has missed two gamesthis season with broken ribs, will be able to play against theFalcons. The Falcons have had their own issues at quarterback. The much-maligned Joey Harrington led the Falcons to a 10-0 leadagainst Indianapolis on Thanksgiving night, but the Coltsroared back to win going away, 31-13. Harrington twice has been replaced in the starting lineup byByron Leftwich, who was injured after both starts. After winning two games in a row, Atlanta has mustered just 20points in dropping its last two games. One of the few bright spots for the Falcons has been runningback Warrick Dunn, who became the 22nd player in NFL history torecord 10,000 yards on the ground against Indy. Dunn has enjoyed a lot of success in his career against theRams, rushing for six touchdowns in four games.
