After a mini vacation, the C's will be back in action tonight. The play will probably be overshadowed by the Ron Artest situation. I hope Danny can take advantage of the Pacers being in town and pull off a deal for Artest. I'd give up anybody but Pierce for him.

Anyway, how will the Celtics look? Fresh from the days off, or rusty from no recent game time? One thing will be different for them, as Mahhhhhhcus Banks is scheduled to return tonight.

I think we can take advantage of all the distractions going on with the Pacers and win the game at home.

Same here, we'd probably get a pick out of it too.

    Celtics win.

Any other team would have won by 30 points, but they managed to let the Pacers stay close. Marky Mark was awesome, Pierce was Pierce, and the rest of the offense was spread out nicely. Ricky had a rough game, but he was sick yesterday and this morning so that's gotta be why.

I was impressed with the C's D in the beggining of the game, and that's what won it. JO and Jackson both had really bad nights.

From what I saw O'Neal was banking on his star power with his refs and making rediculous offensive moves that were almost all fouls. Anyone else feel this way?

PS He has a big forehead.

    Bad idea!

The face of the franchise and a fan favorite plus a legitimate center that's the best rebounder and shotblocker per 48 minutes IN THE ENTIRE LEAGUE for a nutcase/malcontent that may be the best defensive player in the league and a 20 point per game scorer? I'd stivk with what I have and build and let Artest be someone else's headache/distraction. Do you think Ron Artest would enjoy Boston and the media/fans here? HELL NO! It's be a match made in hell. A train wreck. One.

I was lucky enough to attend the game. The Pacers did not look to good to me, though I like to think that was all thanks to the Celtics. The Celtics played some good defense, I was amazed to see them hold the Pacers to 71 points. It went at a very slow pace, and oddly enough was quiet boring. But good win for the Celtics! I hope Ricky does not continue to have trouble scoring like that though.
