Sixers: Rebounding, Rebounding, and more Rebounding. Sixers have been outmatched in rebounding department lately, we can't afford another bad night in that department. Hopefully Moses Malone helped motivate them to attack the glass more. Most importantly, DO NOT underestimate the Bobcats this time. After what they did to the team in the last meeting earlier in the season, we can't afford to underestimate them.

Bobcats: Have to try to contain Iverson. Also, try to take advantage of Philly's lackluster rebounding as of lately. And also an overall effective team effort should help win the ball game.

They meet again. Both of these players have been playing well lately and we should get another nice matchup between these two. But still, expect Webber to win the matchup this time.

    Advantage:
    Chris Webber

Bobcats are a team not to be underestimated and they proved that in their first meeting of the season. Hopefully Philly realizes that this time. If Philly can attack the boards, build up a good enough lead(and keep it), get the job done defensively, then I don't see why they would lose this game. Philly wins 90-82.

nice preview psycho. i really dont see the sixers losing this one. sure they have been struggling as of late, but all their anger and steam will be let off in this one. i dont just see the sixers winning, i see them doing something that they rarely do, i see them blowing out the bobcats. i know its a bit optimistic, because the bobcats are competitors, but i feel it in my blood.

    sixers 104 bobcats 82

also, just a thought. the sixers are just 1-5 with the starting lineup of:

    pg AI
    sg Andre
    sf Korver
    pf Webber
    c Sammy

This should be a easy win to get us back on track, but nothing comes easy for the Sixers anymore. If Iverson and Webber can put in their numbers while spreading the ball around we got this.

I think if the 76ers want to start winning again, they just need to have fun out there. Right now it seems as if they are so desprate to just get a win, that it is taking away from the teams chemistry they had when they went on a six game winning streak. As a team the 76ers need to get this win, and get back on track this December.

Iguodala is having a very good game right now. I just witnessed the weirdest play I have ever seen though. Webber tried to bounce the ball off of a Bobcats leg to save it from going out of bounds, it bounced off the guys leg to AI who threw it down the court to Dre who got fouled and sent to the line. The 76ers are up 62-48 at halftime thanks to a running back shot three pointer from Dre.

The 76ers are indeed flowing right now, and all the starters are making some kind of contribution. Dalembert is having a terrific game so far, with 6 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 blocked shots. Iguodala is also having a good game, his best in a while as he has been not shooting much at all lately. If the 76ers win this in a blowout hopefully they will regain some confidence in themselves, they have a relativley big game against the Nets tommrow since it is a divsion game.

Man, I was going to explode if we lost that game in the final 2 minutes AGAIN against Charlotte. I heard the good point on CSN, the Sixers need to learn how to play in the second half.

Same here Soft Parade. And did anyone notice a couple suspect calls around the 1st-2nd quarter? Salmons went for the layup, got hacked, and they called out of bounds. Then when Iverson went for the layup, May clearly fouled him, but yet they called traveling? [IMG]

I thought that was very weird.

The way I see it, ONLY and I repeat ONLY elite teams can maintain/add to leads. When was the last time you ever heard the Pistons, Heat, Spurs, Suns and so forth lossing 15 point leads? The opposition makes come backs just like in every game but they never end up winning. The Sixers on the other hand aren't an elite team, but seriously, if they can't hold a 20 point lead against the Bobcats that's not saying very much about them. If this was an average team like the Bulls or something this would be a loss. While I'm happy they won, in a way this was just sad. A 20 point lead heading into the 4th and the Bobcats cut it down to as little as 3? It's ridiculous. However on the birght side giving up these leads are a learning experience and the Sixers are fully aware of this so they or more like hopefully will stress some emphasis on this and not let this happen so often. But as of now and pretty much for the entire first half of the season these collapses could and has already have cost us and will continue to cost us some games. At the end of the day it will be a dog fight with the Nets for the Atlantic Division crown and when we look back games such as the Bucks(x2) and Hornets will come back to haunt us.
