my first game thread...so dont hate if it sucks lol RAPS @ NUGGS <u>Starting 5's:</u> No nene or camby, or leonard. Elson SHOULD get the start. Raps actually have a big man advantage over a team in the west for once. we should really relish this opportunity lol vince and jalen comming off a string of rough games...look for one of them, if not both to step it up and play big. raps have won only 1 of the 6 game western road trip...down to .500 so hopefully they can come out of this game on top, and head back home over .500 MY PREDICTION: raps are playing good ball as a team, but its a certain couple of players who havnt been stepping up when we need them. Although we've been losing...we've been competitive in all but 2 games, so look for a good game after last nights lack-luster performance but i still think we'll loose in a close one...raps 95, nuggs 100
I'll start doing the previews again friday. I was just a bit busy this past week. Anyways, I just watched the game and the Nuggets won 112-106. Pretty good game, but KMart destroyed the Raps on the boards. Hopefully they can bounce back friday.
Raps are very disfunctional right now. They don't have the energy they had in the first 3 games. Even in the two losses against Portland and Seattle Raptors played with heart. The thing is Vince is pissing me and all other Vince fans off. I eman a guy like Jalen Rose can manage to put up 30, by getting to the line why can't he. Hes still a better athlete than Rose. Carter sucks right now.
Yah Carter does not look like he wants to play anymore. It doesn't seem like he's putting any effort like some of the other players. It's gonna hard to trade him if he keeps playing like this. An okay game tonight though. Although we should never run plays for Moiso down the stretch ever again, he did grab 11 boards in 23 minutes so he was very effective tonight. The bench did a good job once again, but man, our starters are a real disappointment.
Give Carter a break, guys. He can't listen to music on his IPod anymore during pregame warmups, so he has trouble focusing.
