Since the game thread was not posted I figured I would just start one to say that this performance tonight was just sad. Several times the 76ers had the opportunity to cut the Suns lead slightly, the 76ers drove to the basket and missed the shot, rebounded, and missed again. It was like watching Chris Anderson in the dunk contest all over again. The Nets are playing Detroit though so we should not lose any ground, but then again the Nets are up by three in the third so who knows with our luck they might win. Ps: AI missed his third straight game.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting BigMo763:</div><div class="quote_post">Sam is retarded... he cannot pull the cornrow look. </div> No kidding, at first I thought he shaved his head then they zoomed in, and I was shocked . He just doesn't look right, at all.
The Sixers got blown out because they were playing Phoenix basketball, not Philadelphia basketball. You cannot play Phoenix basketball ESPECIALLY when Allen Iverson is out. The previous two games we controlled the pace of the game and we won because of that. Phoenix won tonight because they were playing their game and so were we. If we control the pace we can do unbelievable things. Still so far a 2-1 without Allen satisfies me. I hope he coems back soon, we got a touch road ahead.
This is off-topic, but I'm hearing some trade talk. A deal may be done as early as tomorrow... but it's nothing big. I'll give you a little teaser though: Hunter should be going to New Orleans.

If we do pull a trade with New Orleans I hope it?s not for JR Smith I love the guy him and Dre would be a sick fast break combo, but I want to see what Willie Green can give us when he comes back. So going out and acquiring yet another guard would not be in our best interest.
I don't know about anybody else but I was pretty much expecting the final score to look like this. We have a hard time against PHX even with AI, so without him, wow. I have to say out of any team in the league, PHX is our WORST matchup. We have a MUCHHHHH better shot at beating Detroit rather than PHX.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting phiLA:</div><div class="quote_post">wait. im a little confused right now. a trade about to happen?</div> Supposedly, yes... We'll see though. I won't post anything unless it's finalized, or close to being finalized. I've heard this trade from three different reliable sources from both sides, so it should be happening unless some kind of big disagreement arises out of nowhere. Avery, I agree that PHX is our worst match-up, espeically since Webber is out there. He's just going to get torched every time unless Kurt Thomas or Brian Grant are out there playing.

Well, the Hornets were targeting both Aaron Williams and Steven Hunter, and they did acquire Williams earlier today. That might signal the demise of the Hunter trade, but it indeed was nothing to get excited about.
