    Timberwolves 97, Lakers 84

Wow, we made a great comeback. I think we were down 15 and then we went on a 15-1 run in the third. And the Big Three played big. Sprewell always seems to show up against the Lakers, last game scored 30 points against them, scored 35 points and 7 rebounds, had three steals, and had a sweet buzzer beater. Cassell was second in scoring the game with 28 points and dished out 11 assists to go along with that. And Garnett had a little below average game, scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds, but his below average games are usually a great game for anybody else. That's why I love him on our team. Darrick Martin had 2 assists in 6 minutes in his first game with the Timberwolves this season. On the other side of the ball, Shaquille O'Neal had 22 points and 9 rebounds. In place of the injured Kobe, Kareem Rush scored 17 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, and dished out 4 assists. Gary Payton had 10 points and 9 assists, Derek Fisher had 12 points, and Slava Medvedenko had 10 points and 4 rebounds. It was a fun game to watch, but it was all Timberwolves in the second half.

What a wild game! The Lakers had it in the bag but the Wolves came back behind Latrell Sprewell, who absolutely destroyed Bryon Russell.

On the other side of the ball, I didn't like how Luke Walton jacked up 7 shots. He went 1-7 and didn't do much. He should stick to his passing, because good lord, that dude cannot shoot a perimeter jumper! [IMG]

Anyways, Shaq tried to carry the Lakers, but he is just too banged up right now. You can't really fault him for this loss. Payton started off well, but faded towards the end when Phil Jackson used some crazy substitution rotations.

The main thing I didn't like was how the ref laid his hand on Gary Payton and sorta pushed him away. Then GP as ya'll know gets ejected.

Anyways, this is a budding rivalry, and don't be surprised if these 2 teams meet up in the playoffs. When both teams get healthy, it should be a great match-up!

I love this... Wolves prove they can come back when it all seems in the bag. When Spree rolls for the Wolves... they seem to be unbeatable because we know consistency wise, Garnett and Cassell will put up the numbers.

This is great, the Timberwolves always continue to perform well and get back from bad losses. Plus look who they beat, one of the biggest contenders. It truly is no wonder why they're one of the best teams in the West. Take that Lakers!
