We're playing for draft position at this point, and certain players will simply be showcasing themselves. I expect Bosh to shut it down as we get closer to April (Jose might too). Deron is absolutely going to destroy us on Sunday. He's simply the antithesis of Jose. Not looking forward to that clash.
STARTING LINEUPS

Deron Williams - Ronnie Brewer - CJ Miles - Paul Millsap - Memo Okur Jose Calderon - Anthony Parker - Shawn Marion - Chris Bosh - Andrea Bargnani

KEY MATCHUP

Memo Okur vs. Andrea Bargnani
Strictly speaking, this is not the most important matchup of the game. The Raptors need to stop Deron from sucking in defenders and keep Millsap off the boards to stand a chance Sunday afternoon. But, this might present a more intriguing one for a team that's clearly out of contention and is way over their heads against Utah. After the nonstop Bargnani/Nowitzki comparisons that Leo and Devlin subjected us to during the game against Dallas, it'll be interesting to see another frequent comparison. And honestly, unless he continues his rapid development, it might be more prudent to restrict the Bargnani comparisons to players like Okur and Ilgauskas anyways.
chutney is a moron!!! the key matchup is a great coach in jerry sloan vs the worst coach in the league in jay triano. and as a sub key matchup its the best point guard in the league in deron williams vs. jose caledron, the worst starting point guard in the league.
Deron is going to tear Jose a new one, I would actually just put Banks on Deron to see what can happen.
Our defense is atrocious. Deron's just toying with Calderon, waiting for the defense to collapse on him then dishing it off to a wide-open man in the post. We're matching them right now on offense, but you can't expect to do that against Utah's defense all game.
Deron sets up at the top of the arc, quick screen, Jose doesn't fight through it and instead switches off, putting Andrea on Deron. Deron steps forward, shakes Bargs, steps back, shoots, game over. A monkey could've drawn up that play for the Jazz.
i just dont think the raps can ever win a game against a team with an elite point guard because caledron provides no resistance and the opposing guard gets into the paint with very little effort and consequently collapses the rest of the defense who need to help. the first offseason move this summer is trading caledron
