It was an awful 1st quarter but after that the Nets just battled and the Hea couldn't stop us. Now the player of the game was Vince Carter without a doubt. Not to rub it in anybody's face, but if he got traded where would we be. Without him this game would be impossible. Props to VC! Since there is no thread for this game, post your comments here.
I'm extremely sorry for not posting the game thread yesterday....I just didn't have the time, not even to fit in a short preview, since we're getting ready for Hannukah. It won't happen again. I couldn't post it the day before, either, if you're wondering, cause my computer wasn't working... Props to NBABaller for posting the game thread. Anyways, about the game...leaving Carter's amazing 51 points aside, I was most impressed with the bench production, especially on the boards. Padgett and Marc Jackson combined for 16 rebounds in around 36 minutes, which is very good. Padgett grabbed 10 in 16 min., which is even better. The shooting wasn't very impressive other than Carter, with RJ (25%), Nenad (10%), and Padgett (22%) all shooting terribely from the floor...RJ was especially dissapointing since he did pratically nothing. Again, the bench production is improving, which is very important.
