Before the injury Garaba was the starting center for the raptors and he was a tough as nails player. He was the only player on the Raptors that would not settle for the easy jumper and loves contact. Lets give him our bi annual and see what he can do. He would be the true banger that we wanted in Magliore but a smaller and quicker version.

He played within his role, was a great locker room presence, and very good team defender. That's why Raps fans loved him so much. Also he had a wicked cool nickname. Unfortunately, he no longer has the physical ability or passion to play in the NBA anymore. He'll most likely return to Spain where he's already an icon. The Raptors buyout was more like a favour for him.
No NBA team would invest more than the vets minimum on him...and probably without a guarantee. In Spain, he will get a great contract.
