After a bumpy ride through the first month, the Minnesota Timberwolves seem to be slotting back into place once again.

Kevin Garnett is back in MVP form, but more importantly, Latrell Sprewell and Sam Cassell are gelling as team mates.

As we know, the team has been dogged by injury trouble ( Troy Hudson (ankle) Wally Szczerbiak (foot) and Michael Olowokandi (knee trouble) ), however many insiders around the league, have predicted that if the Wolves become healthy, they could rise into the top four in the league.

We all know that Kevin Garnett is a unique player. Standing 7-feet tall with extraordinary quickness and explosiveness, he is a great passer with shooting range out to the 3-point line, and he can shut down players defensively at virtually all five positions.

Last year he had Tim Duncan to contend with for the MVP but this year it is likely to be O'Neal. However the Garnett's overall explosive play, is making the Minnesota Timberwolves, one of the most watchable teams in the NBA today.

    Any thoughts?

Damn right he is,that game winner really showed Leadership qualitys and just how good of a baller he is in the L .That shot was on Brand and he is really showing now that he is the Wolf among the team.

I can see him being a massive contender for MVP as long as he keeps it up by leading his team to glory.

It is my belief that he will be MVP this year. He should have been player of the week last week, but Shaq was named it after averaging average numbers.

I'll gladly take wins over good numbers any day. Sulk all you want about Garnett and the Wolves not getting respect, but wins are what counts.
