Garnett isn't going to want to come to a developing Bulls team--even if he can save airfare attending Farragut High reunions. I've suggested a Garnett-Dirk Nowitzki deal, but perhaps a better one would be with Indiana for Jermaine O'Neal and Jamaal Tinsley. The Pacers seem to miss Reggie Miller's quiet leadership.

As Austin Croshere said last week after a loss to the Hornets: "This team needs to step up and find some leadership. It's not coaching, it's effort and taking responsibility for what's happening on the court."

No names were mentioned, but insiders knew it was aimed at O'Neal, regarded as a bigger talker than worker. Without prompting, O'Neal answered the comments not specifically aimed at him.</div>

Would any of you pull this trade off, frankly i think JO is a poor man's garnett but if you throw tinsley in the mix would it be fair?

im a pacer fan and i think that the trade is fair in some aspects but it leaves a little to be desired on both ends now u may say that the wolves are giving up alot but the players we are losing are both alstar caliber and are young too.in that sence i think if each side added 1 more player then it would make more sence to both sides.the pacers send o'neal, tinsley and pollard and the wolves send garnet and hudson.the wolves would benefet from the veteran hardworking pollard an obvious improvement on the defensive end to kandi and the pacers likewise could use hudson as a legitemet three point threat of the bench. i would personally use fred as the starting pg because of his defence and atlethisim.but back to the point i think that this trade senario makes the trade more viable.

Normally, I would never pull the trigger if I was the pacer GM, even if it was available. However, if they do, they would have an even better chance for a championship.

But in all certainty, the pacers would definately lose a lot of depth at PG. And I don't know how good fred could handle it.

Why would the TWolves make this trade when they have so much money invested at PG already with Hudson and Jaric? The TWolves will just have Jermaine O'neal surrounded by a bunch of overpaid role players and no cap space. They are already in that situation now with KG, so this deal doesn't change anything for them.

^ except that they get younger. KG is getting old. JO still hasn't hit his prime yet..

So they are better off wasting JO's career since they still won't have any cap space to build around him? That makes no sense at all.

The TWolves might as well start the process now, develop their young players and hope to get Greg Oden or Josh McRoberts in the draft and then try to rebuild around either of those big men since they failed to get it done with KG.

If Kg Really Wants Out, Its Because Kobe Made Some Calls To Kg To Get Him To L.a. Lamar Odom + Kwame Brown + 3 1st Round Draft Picks And Cash For K.g. Isnt That A Good Deal?

^No. The twolves dont even get an allstar in return. Bad deal. Lakers are not on the market for KG.

It's an insult to all the work and improvement JO has made to call him a poor man's anything.

I wouldn't pull through with this trade, you're trading players with the same capabilities (except for Garnett's 6 apg), with the Pacers losing that tight knit chemistry they've built over the years. A new superstar wouldn' help much, they're not in trouble like that anyway.

i wouldn't call it an insult cause it is tru JO is good but he's no KG, it's just a compliment to say a poor-man's kg is a perenial all-star

I think this is the best offer i've heard so far from the wolves perspective and losing tinsley hurts, but how can u turn down KG.

    KG's getting the compliment..but anyway..

I don't think trading a player who can match KG in ppg and a few rpg and apg less, and another player who is your designated playmaker is a healthy trade. Tinsley is what makes the Pacers go and is invaluable because pass-first PGs are so rare.

I don't think the Pacers are in rush to move Jermaine O'neal, and especially break down their team for Garnett.
