He not only push Zaza, but the dumbass pushed the ref! If Amare can get eliminated in big games, than Garnett should to.

We should stop suspending people for minor offenses, it's soft.

Not like I am a fan of the Celtics either.

If anyone gets suspended because of this, then the NBA really is turning into European soccer. I bet anything that if Pachulia doesn't shit himself and get in Garnett's face after a stray elbow not meant to kill anyone, Garnett doesn't even get T'd up and no one even notices anything wrong. Zaza just made a big scene like all Euros love to do in order to get the calls in their favor.

And Amare and Diaw's suspensions last year SHOULD NOT be considered the standard for whether to suspend players or not. Those were ticky-tacky suspensions and should never have been imposed IMO since Diaw and Amare never actually made it into the scuffle. Letter of the law be damned. Stern, Stu Jackson and all the refs need to realize that emotions run really high in the playoffs and that laying down suspensions for this kind of thing just ruins the competition.

Plus I would hate to give the Celtics a built in excuse if they choke. Beat them legitimately. :[

Overall it is better for our game to get back to our somewhat tougher roots.

I'm with huevonkiller. We saw in last year's playoffs, how an entire series can be ruined by enforcing the rules too harshly and handing out suspensions for minor incidents. The players deserved technicals and got them. There's not much else to say and that little incident shouldn't affect the next game.

If Josh Smith had done what KG did, Josh would already be suspended for game 5.

Kobe wasn't suspended in a playoff game. It's like an unspoken rule that suspensions shouldn't be ticky-tack in the playoffs.

Dude it was a stray elbow that really had no direction, Garnett was just scrambling to grab the rebound (but for the record, it was kinda funny watching my Celtics play volleyball with at least 4 rebound oppurtunities). Zaza really had no reason to get pissed off. Either he's acting or he's paranoid and thinks KG is out to get him with no provocation.

Again the only reason anyone even noticed KG's elbow was because of Pachulia's reaction.

I think I read in the Daily Dime at ESPN that 3 people risk suspension in the next game. KG for instigating it, and Marvin Williams and Kendrick Perkins for stepping onto the court from the bench. I don't think they should be suspended in my opinion because even in the regular season I don't think that would've been a big deal. This is the playoffs and it's intense, let them play. I only worry that they might suspend cause I saw the Commissioner's face in that video, and that was a punishment mean face.

Stern wants Boston vs LA in the Finals
    Stern has no integrity

I'll leave the rest as an exercise for the reader.

What did KG instigate? Zaza Pachulia's overreacting?

Pushing a ref merits a Technical, unless he made the guy bleed internally or something.

Honestly, I think the league should leave it, but I'm just telling you what I read.
