I'm sure there's already been a thread about this, but I wanted to start a new thread. So what do you all think about the gas prices? Overpriced? Of Course. Is it needed? You debate.
Well right now I am guessing it will be cheap compared to the prices that are soon to come because of the crisis in the Middle East.
i think oil companies are using this middle east crisis as an excuse to raise prices and all the ignorant people will believe it.

I doubt they are reaising it just for the heck of it.

I'm sick of Americans bitching about it...Americans buy coffee every morning...they go to fast food places...they buy giant TV's...$40 pairs of pants...$70 shoes...and they complain that they have to pay $13 more dollars at the pump when everyone else around the world pays a lot more...stop your bitching...the only people that have a right to complain are farmers and people that run companies that need lots of fuel.

ohhhh man, theres nothing like watching the price meter at the gas station run up north of 50 bucks (how much it takes to fill my car). its the worst feeling ever.
I never complain about gas prices. What does that help? It is what it is. If you think it's to expensive, then don't buy it. Catch my drift?
It's convenient to say "stop buying gas," "stop doing this," and "stop doing that," but for the rest of us it is rather annoying when an entire industry raises its prices and unexplainably has a ridiculously high increase in profits. Hey, they are a business. Kudos to them for doing well at what they do. However, I don't think it's completely wrong for people like me to be upset when you have to buy gas to get around. There are, amazingly, people who have planned where they live and work around how much money they have to spend on gas. I've known more than one person move just because it's cheaper to live somewhere else. For some of you, that's fine. For me, it's not. I'm not a wastrel, and I hate paying a crapload for gas. Sorry that I am annoyed by it.
What I meant by don't buy it was to help illustrate the need for it. I am also upset over having to shell $50 for a tank of gas, but complaing doesn't help so I just pay it because I have to. I just don't get why people focus so much on the oil inflation when it's happening just as bad in all idustries.
