<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Forward Pau Gasol is just about ready to scream "Hola!" at teammates and Grizzlies fans in a regular-season game. The 7-foot Spaniard gave credence to a Spanish report that he could make his season debut by midweek. The Griz announced Friday that Gasol had been cleared to participate in contract practices. "It depends. It could be (Wednesday)," Gasol said when asked about a report that his return is planned for Dec. 13 when the Griz host Portland. "Hopefully it will be next week if nothing bad happens over the next few days. Maybe Wednesday. Maybe Friday." The Grizzlies medical staff will evaluate Gasol's progress and make day-to-day diagnosis related to his return. "He's played a little three-on-three," Fratello said. "How much we do on Tuesday may dictate what we'll do (Wednesday). And then we'll keep going along. I'm open to whatever the doctors and Pau say. "When they say he's ready and if he feels he's ready then I think I can find a spot for him."</div> LinkThats great, when hes 100% around all-star break, we are going to be very good. Pau make Jake get 15 a night after allstar break...imagine what he can do with Hakim Warrick!! Ive also heard that the doctors originally said about December for him to come back(this was this summer), but they said Febuary just in case he didnt, they wouldnt be fired I cant wait.
Finally...I can't wait to see the impact he has on the team...if he comes in and the team starts playing like last year...wow...that really tells you how good he is. The Grizzlies are really lucky that Hakim Warrick has stepped up.
