Pau Gasol has not played for Spain the last two years because the Lakers had played into June each season and the power forward needed the rest. Spain will play in the Eurobasket tournament from Aug. 31-Sept. 18 in Lithuania and Gasol may be a member of the team. "My decisions the last couple years have been because of a lack of rest and time to recover from our runs to the championships before the beginning of the season," Gasol told ESPNLosAngeles.com.
