I wouldn't doubt that he returns to Europe. I just don't foresee it happening as long as he's a productive player in the NBA.
Of all top 50 players in the NBA, or top 10 at any position, he's gotta be among the top of my list to go back while still young. He's make more money, and form what I can tell it's not if he has many endorsement deals that make up what could be a difference in $. -Petey
He doesn't have any endorsements because he played in Memphis. I predict that will change with him in LA, but who knows. His contract comes off the book in 2010/2011, the same year Kobe's contract comes off the book assuming he doesn't opt out to sign a new deal. After that offseason, we'll only have Luke Walton under contract (yuck) and probably Bynum. Assuming Gasol goes overseas, I would expect us to be players in the free agent market. Should be interesting.
