Pretty early game start-time wise, really early into the season means that there isn't going to be a lot of fight in the guys out there so an early jump is essential.
Sucks that I'm going to miss it but at least there's a nice turkey dinner on the other end. I'll catch the game in a hour but it'll be a good one!
We're playing surprisingly good D. Players are rotating quickly on the pick and roll and they're making it tough on Elton Brand. We're noticeably more athletic and it shows when our players challenge shots. Bargnani's looking solid once again. I'm loving how varied his offense has been so far this preseason. He's got a mid-range J, some decent postmoves (to use against SF's), and a more controlled dribble drive. Jermaine looks a little lacking in athleticism. He's played below the basket so far and had trouble with the second or third defender. Hopefully its just rust and not an after-effect of his injury.
Damn, BasX, with that avatar I keep thinking you're ghotti. You and shookem both. I saw a few minutes of this game and came away with only one observation: Matt Devlin is boring. Hopefully they stick him with Jack most of the season. Jack keeps things popping.
Devlin is more professional though. Chuck was just a side show of sorts. I like Devlin when he does get excited.
Devlin and Leo = entertaining game call fail. Even worse, imagine, Smitty, Leo and Devlin. You know what sucks ... basketball without incidental contact. It really has turned into a game of pussies.
