EBGames called me last night to let me know that they were having a midnight release party for Gears of War 2 and I was invited on account of my pre-order for the game. I respectfully declined. So I haven't played the game yet. Good reviews are pouring in, though. Anyone want to comment on it?
My copy is in the mail. My friend picked it up last night at the midnight launch. Said what he played was really awesome
I played it for a bit last night doing coop with a couple friends. It was pretty good, really more of the same in my opinion. If you enjoyed the first one, you should enjoy this one as well.
I'm gonna wait a bit to buy this game. I only REALLY enjoyed it while playing co-op so I want to wait for my brother to come home from college during Thanksgiving break. Almost bought it today though.
I'm enjoying it so far. Not a big departure from the first game--which is great. Very good looking game and the action is still tight. I've had a few lag issues but nothing major. I don't know how long the campaign mode is (the original was a bit short) but I think we're pretty deep into her.
It's rather short from what I've played. I've played essentially the entire thing on two different systems, and I've only played about 5ish hours or so. Me and my friend completed chapters 3 and 4 in a matter of about 3 or so hours today, and there's only five total chapters.

Another game to add to my To Get list. Wasn't sure if i was gonna get it but played it at a friends house yesterday and loved it
One of the malls near me has 2 gamestops, and they are really like just around the corner from eachother. I don't get it.
