If you're a 360 owner and haven't played this yet, do yourself a favor and freaking play it. It's probably the best game on the 360 right now, with the only two games taht come close to it are the new Spliter Cell and Oblivion. The game is absolutely amazing in every aspect. The graphics are amazing, the gameplay is great, and multiplayer, at least co-op, rocks.
This is the main reason why I want a 360 for Christmas..it's just flat out amazing, it's on Halo status already.
im a 360 owner i havent played it lol, id get it but i dont play 360 much anymore and my report cards about to come nd i know i didnt do to well, i mite get it around christmas
<div class="quote_poster">I-Miss-MJ Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Not a 360 seller when the main game is around 6 hours long. Not worth the money.</div>Maybe on the easiest difficulty. On the Hardcore difficulty level, it's insanely difficult. On Insane, it's supposed to be the equivalent to Legendary on Halo 2, only harder. Beyond that, the cooperative mode is flat out amazing. And from my understanding, the game is supposed to have great multiplayer on and offline. It's definitely a system seller. Oh, and that 6 hours you speak of is probably total gametime. That's not including the amount of times you'll die and go back to checkpoints. Or, as stated earlier, it's on the easiest difficulty.
Depends how many people go back and play the game knowing what iwll happen. Regardless Resistence Fall of Man is longer, just as good and has a 40 player online component.
And good luck getting a PS3 to play Resistance. A 360 is going to be MUCH more available and MUCH less expensive. The only way you'll likely land a PS3 before next year is if you're camping outside of some place or if you're willing to shell out a few grand on one off of eBay.

I have no doubt Gears of War is a great game. I just wouldn't buy a 360 just to play it. Not to say I would buy a PS3 because of Resistance - Fall of Man. I just think the both compliment their system well.
On a PS3 note, I got the chance to play one today, and played NBA 07. I must say, the graphics were pretty solid, as was the gameplay. However, the system crapped out after 20 minutes. According to the people at Best Buy, it's been doing that consistently as well. So, just a thought to those of you thinking of buying one, it freezes, a lot. My advice, wait til next year before you invest your $600.

I got my Ps2 maybe 1 or 2 years after it was released never had a problem with it.
Yea, typically if you get the first generation of a console, it'll have issues. However, I got a 360 last January, just a month and a half after release, and never had freezing issues. And anything by Nintendo is going to be quality, I've never had an issue with a system from them.
Gears of War rocks. I started playing it last night, it's a sweet game, and different enough from Halo (3rd person) so it doesn't feel like Halo. I also picked up Tony Hawk's Project 8 the same day, and I've been playing around with that game, espeically the new "Nail The Trick" feature.

The freezing was meant to do it to 360s that had been modded (I wonder how my mate is doing with it. )
GoW miltiplayer is amazing. I played a game last week with 8 people in one room. It was insanely sweet. easily the game of the year so far.

GOTY will be The Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess on the Wii. I have yet to get to play it, not because we don't have it, but because my brother is in the process of playing it. However, everything I've read points to it being the GOTY. It sounds amazing in every aspect. I can't wait to get the chance to play the game I've been waiting well over a year to play now.

Random question, but what's the name of the song and who is it by for the Gears of War commercial for PS3?
Yeea yo, I had that same question. The one where he rolls into a dark room and there's this big spider monster in there.
<div class="quote_poster">TheFreshPrince Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">whats been better for any system?</div> PS2 - Final Fantasy XII Wii - New Zelda I hear PS3 - Resistence - Fall of Man.
