Though I was a little disappointed in Wallace tonight, I think he will bounce back. It is Roy and Nate I am more worried about...

We'll be fine on Tuesday. I don't think Kidd has another shooting night like that again nor does Gerald.

I think this might mark the end of Nate's loyalty to Roy. I'm not worried about Nate.

Well something to really look for to. G. Wall hasn't had 2 piss poor performances in a row. In fact, usually when he plays poorly, his next game is stellar. Lets hope he continues this trend.

Yeah, it sucks to have a good passer who demands a double-team.

I'm looking for Gerald to be seriously pissed off about game one. It's not just the scoring that was lacking.

He's really our teams "enforcer tough guy," and he was emotionless out there. He's gone head to head with virtually every elite star in this league and been the better player on a given night. He's nobody's bitch, and he let himself get treated like one in that game. Fuck that.

Marion is about as good a defender as you'll find to guard somebody like him, but it's not like Marion is on him 100% of the time he's out there. When he gets switched onto anybody else, he has to take it as an opportunity to get pissed off.

And if any Mav knocks him down he needs to hop up and start something. Get a tech called if that's what it takes. Make it clear that he's the best defender on either team, and after Dirk and LA he's also the best offensive player.

occasionally? Nope he had a double everytime he had the ball. occasionally would be getting doubled less than three times a game.

I think it's funny how people put the loss out on Roy and Nate for leaving Roy out there on the floor, when players like Wes and Wallace played like shit. How about calling them out? Wes was absolutely terrible on the offensive end. Does he need some glasses or something? If we are calling players out, then call all of them out.

If I were the Mavericks, I'd be preparing for an extremely agressive Crash on Tuesday. He's a known quantity in the league, and they know Saturday was an aberration.

...who can't jump to get a rebound, or move laterally on defense, or run fast enough to catch a gimmie fast break lead pass...

It does suck. I want Roy to do well, but he's a complete and total liability on defense... like worse than Rudy. While the double is required on him, and that's great, he still dominates the ball and waits until the shot clock is about drained before giving up and passing out to someone for a long bomb. Because he can't drive like he used to, the passes out aren't as close to the basket as they used to be. Sometimes its still ok (like Batum's catch in the corner) but others, it leaves LMA way too far out there with no time to maneuver closer.
