    He's pretty cocky on his twitter account. I think he will have a very hard time making the team. He's very small and we have a player like that in Zucc already. For a PK, role player job I would think the team would want a big, fast, more physical talent.

    That's exactly what I said when they signed him. Not a fan of having a guy 5'5 on our 4th line

    Reminds me of Ranger old timer, Camille "The Eel" Henry. Gerbe is the two inches shorter............
    same type player. The 5' 7" Henry took a lot of punishment in front of opposing net minders.
    I do not think Gerbe could withstand that kind of punishment.

    The defense was atrocious from the forwards last season. The defense is getting all the blame but the coverage by forwards in the high slot was non existent. One of the reasons I think Brassard was shipped out of town in favor of ZB. Grabner will help a lot defensively. So will Jooris. D. Moore was garbage last season except on draws. He got remarried and his game went to total crap. I don't know what AV has against Hrvik. He played really well in his role when he was up here.
