Here's an interesting little bit of trivia.
When I was in the Army and stationed in New Jersey I had an acting First Sergeant who was from New York City and looked a bit like John Travolta when he was on Welcome Back Kotter. One time he invited me to go with him to a Christmas party in Newark. We were gonna take the bus but it was snowing and buses weren't running so we decided to hitchhike. While doing so we got to talking and we learned that we were the same age and for one year we attended the same grade school, Chapman in NW Portland. He then told me how his parents had once owned White Stag. Eventually, the new owners of White Stag, who had bought it from his parents, sold it to Columbia. Boring? Okay, I'm sorry I brought it up. I did say it was trivia so you were forewarned.
