<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Bobcats rookie Adam Morrison was fined $25,000 by the NBA for making an obscene gesture at a Heat fan during Sunday's game in Miami. Morrison accepts that he used bad judgment in making the gesture, but feels security at American Airlines Arena should have interceded, considering how abusive the heckler was. "Basically, the guy called me white trash one too many times," Morrison said. "I know I shouldn't have done it, but (the fan's behavior) was over the top. "I think I've learned my lesson. They hit my pocketbook pretty good." This is not his first incident with a heckler. He confronted two Pacers fans during his first game at Indiana this season. Bobcats coach Bernie Bickerstaff was similarly concerned that Heat security didn't deal with the fan's abuse, but he added Morrison has to stop reacting. "Adam has those sonar ears, like a bat," Bickerstaff said. "That's one of those things a rookie has to learn" to ignore.</div> Source
