"Orlando Magic guard Gilbert Arenas felt confident that he'll be able to practice Sunday after he sat out Friday night's game against the Denver Nuggets because of a sore left calf muscle. The muscle flared up after Friday's shootaround, which Arenas said was taxing physically. "I'll be fine," he said. "I just didn't have enough time to recover." The calf gives Arenas problems intermittently. The difficulties are related to the left-knee injury he suffered in April 2007 and required three subsequent surgeries. Part of the problem, Magic officials have said, is that Arenas didn't keep up his leg rehab work in the months before his trade from the Washington Wizards. General Manager Otis Smith and coach Stan Van Gundy have said recently that Arenas has been more diligent in his leg-strengthening work in recent months."
