Will Gilberto keep his place in the first team?

IMO Gilberto has been our most consistent player this season. Arsenal certainly look more solid at the back with him in front of the back four.

With Wenger playing him at centre back I can't help but wonder if Wenger sees Denilson and Fabregas as first choice for next season and is looking to give them as much experience of playing together as possible. I know that we have injuries at the back but I think we lack something when Gilberto isn't in the midfield.

Denilson and Fabregas are the future of Arsenal's midfield but it would be a mistake to drop Gilberto and risk losing him.

Gilberto should keep his place because as you said he has been our most consistant and IMO our best player this season since RVP got injured

I cant see Denilson playing next season, maybe in the next too.

I can see this being your formation next season.

    Van Persie/Baptista Henry

    Rosicky Fabregas Silva Walcott/Hleb

    Clichy Toure Gallas Eboue
