Last week we see Chad Pennington and the Jets destroy Seattle. This week they look worse than Pop-Warner league and the Patriots destroy them, tho in their first meeting they were "evenly matched". Hmmmm. Patriots need the numbers I guess..... I actually saw Pennington throw a pass to a Patriot defender with no-one remotely near him in a green jersey today. NFL PRO QUARTERBACK?? No way. I haven't played ball since high school, but I'm telling you, the "choreography" or whatever the hell it is they are doing in the NFL to keep ratings up and Vegas spreads consistent is a joke, bottom line. I regularly see solid football teams get trounched by lackluster teams with no direction, fired or resigned coaches, or no game plan---look at the Dolphins/Patriots last week, you mean to tell me a MVP and two-time Superbowl quarterback FORGETS how to throw all of a sudden? Nah, ain't buying it. Even Pennington today, or a number of other QB's for that matter who all of a sudden have brainfarts, who were drafted from college BECAUSE OF THEIR ACCURACY, POISE, AND EXCELLENCE UNDER PRESSURE, don't give up "ducks", of forget how to play from one game to the next, along with the rest of their teammates. Doesn't happen unless you are completely beaten up or severely pressured. They better start thinking about the game of FOOTBALL, instead of TV and gambling odds IMHO. If guys like me can figure this out, then surely others can. Rant over.
Any team can show up and beat any team in the NFL today. I'm sure Patriots fans felt the same way last week after Miami put the hurt on 'em. Are you trying to say here that you think the NFL is fixed?
