Ginobili Calls Nocioni 'Nuts' & 'Wild, Wild, Wild' <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Plenty of NBA players weren?t sure what to make of Bulls forward Andres Nocioni and his aggressive, almost reckless style of play last season. Nocioni offered another example in Monday?s game when he appeared to use a good acting job to draw a flagrant foul on San Antonio?s Robert Horry in the second quarter. Spurs guard Manu Ginobili first caught up with Nocioni on a basketball court in 1997 in their native Argentina. Ginobili?s reaction to Nocioni is you should have seen him back then. ?He?s calmed down,? Ginobili said. ?He was totally nuts when he was younger. Now he?s settled down. He still plays with a lot of heart and passion. But before he was wild, wild, wild. ?He was doing crazy stuff and fighting with everybody and doing stuff to win just with heart. Now he got better, got more talented, worked a lot on his career, and he thinks more.? Monday marked the first time three Argentineans were in uniform in the same NBA game. Ginobili, Nocioni and Spurs center Fabricio Oberto, who did not play, were all members of the 2004 Olympic team that won the gold medal. Bricks from the bench: Spurs guard Michael Finley missed his first 11 shots Monday and finished 3-for-14 from the field. But the former Proviso East star did managed to locate the center of the rim on a corner 3-pointer in overtime to stretch San Antonio?s lead to 5 points.</div> Source
When I watched Noc last year I always had a feeling this guy must of had some temper problem when he was younger. Whenver I watched him I was afraid he would just snap and go crazy.
