The San Antonio Express-News reported in its Monday editions that Ginobili will be placed on the injured list after results of a Sunday MRI test were inconclusive. Further tests are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, the newspaper reported.

The first word that comes to mind here is

    OUCH

Spurs will struggle getting points from the perimeter without him.Attacking the basket is what he is known for....can Ron Mercer and Hedo Turkoglu replace what Ginobili brought to the team? I have my doubts.

With their second best (and upcoming) player game, the Spurs will lose a lot of flash to their game. A very quick, and well-rounded left hander is a big advantage to have.

Duncan needs to play well again and Parker, along with Mercer and Hedo, need to step it up. Nesterovic also must get back to how he was playing before for the Spurs to win. And definitely work more of free throws.

All I know is. Hedo needs to step his soft ass up. And do what he did in Kingsland.

Duncan needs to learn how to shoot FTs BTW.
    Its his ONLY weakness.

In the game against Nuggets, San Antonio shot only 16 of 29 free throws, they nedd to practice more, or in the playoffs we?ll see hack-a-Bowen like past season and hack-a-Duncan this season.

Yeah, they lose motivation when free throws don't go down.

As far as free throw practicing, they practice all the time. However, there hasn't been much improvement, overall. They have two good FT shooters in Hedo and Malik, and two decent ones in Parker and Ginobili. Bowen has gone up about 10%, but he's still only 63% from the line. Duncan is worse than ever before, so...

He needs to bend his legs.

And Ginobili's lost hurt them and their streak with Philly, but they haven't had any other problems. His absense may be an issue ith Indiana, however.
