So far we haven't really given Dwight the ball early. He only had 1 shot in the first 23 mins and 50 secs of the 1st half against Atlanta(he had an alley oop dunk in the last 10 secs) for 8 pts and 2 pts in the 1st half(I believe only 2-3 from the field) last night. He also had 2 rebounds in the first half against the Hawks and 4 in the first half against the Rockets. The 2nd half(basically just the 3rd quarter) we gave him the ball and he had 7 pts and 5 boards against Atlanta. If we get him involved offensively, he feels more active in the game and seems to contribute better, IMO. He's had a total of 11 shots in the first 2 games. I know it's just preseason and you want to give the other players a chance to win a spot on the team, but you still need to give Dwight the ball more. He needs at least 10-13 shots a game(preferably 13-15) this year. It's not like he doesn't produce when he gets it either, he hit 50+% of his shots last year and so far this preseason is 8-11 from the field. Sorry for my rant, I would just like to see more of Dwight with the rock, because I know he can produce with touches. i would love to see him breakout this year.
