Rafer did a great job last year dropping dimes, penetrating, and pushing the ball upcourt for the raps. Despite his inconsistent jumper he really did a great job taking care of some of the pg duties that Alvin did not do as well. Glen obviously does not feel the same way and instead of re-signing Skip he went out and signed Milt Palacio (Palacio meaning "Clown" in Portuguese) who sucks bag. What we need is a quick, penetrating pg ala Skip, TBest, RStrickland, KAnderson, O Cook. If you really wanted another big pg why not have drafted Marquise Daniels instead of Ramon Va De Hare ( thats right a Dutch Ramon) who is a super athlete, pocket-picking defensive stopper, with great 1on1 and slashing skills. What about a Jermaine Jackson, Smush Parker, not Milt the Clown. My point is that signing this Clown for 3$ million over 2 years is a waste of money and roster space. Any Shooting G who has a 40% or less fg% should not be starting in the L. This is why Mo pete must either come off the bench this season or be traded. I feel that a quality 2 guard is the raps biggest need. It would be great to have Lenard back, but after averaging 14ppg last season he is money hungry. It has been rumoured thar APeeler might be coming to town, he can light it up but lacks D. LMurray has shown signs of his old self in the summer league, but u can not rely on injury cases. It would great if we could snag up EJones from Miami or BBarry and Radmanovic from Seattle for possibly Mo, JYD, CJeffries. We desperatly need a consistent, reliable 2G unlike Mo Pete. The only credit I will give Glen was drafting Bosh and signing Moiso. Drafting a nobody in Dutch Ramon over MDaniels or Canadian CEnglish was a huge mistake. Larry "Legend" Bird signed this kid to a 2 year contract before he even stepped a foot on a summer league court, that is enough said about this kid. Glen Grunwald is destroying this team and I am fed up.
i hear you on that, i think Skip definitely should have been coming back to the Raps, with the pg situation as it is, bringing back Skip and throwing him a few more minutes would have allowed us to move Alvin over to the 2-spot and put Mo-Pete's ass on the bench or like you said, trade him.
I think Palacio is better than Skip. Palacio brings toughness and great defense. Hes takes care of the ball good to. This should be in the raptors forum I think.
You clearly want a more popular guard (skip) than Palacio. Palacio was a good pick up, a verteran PG who plays on both sides of the ball, there is no way that Jermaine Jackson and Smush Parker are better. I agree with your statements about Mo Pete, however you said you wanted Voshon back? He shoots a disgusting 40.2%, .2 above the mark you said was a bad FG percentage, he is also a very selfish player and forces too many shots. Lammond Murray is on the roster because he is great at getting to the line, he also provides fairly good defence with a good jumpshot, because he was injured for a whole season does not mean he is a bad player, he will bring a lot to the raptors. About bringing in Eddie Jones, he has a killer contract, he is making over 12 million every year untill 2007, how on earth could the raptors afford him? Note to CM, Admin, or mod for this forum (sunsfan), when you get the chance this should be moved to the raptors forum
I might write another article on his mistakes cause i have more and i could nt fit them all in lol. GG part 2.

rumors have been that the raps are still interested in Lenard and r looking at Job Barry and Rick Brunson. i like Jon Barry--good fit in tdot if we get him.
