Definitely the best album so far in this early stage of the year 2009, but it isn't likely to be topped, at least for me. Every track is great, every one. Especially "Unreachable". Fantastic music.
ofcourse i have got this and listened to it a thousand times. ive got everything john has ever done as a solo artist so i had to have this when it came out. i really like it! hi playing and layering of seperate intruments has progressed from his previous work, this has a certain more sophistication to the lyrics and the allignment of sounds within the works. i especially like his progression into voice altering intrument, adding a little more echo into it, stuff like that. anyway overall another great album from frusciante, hope some of you get on to this guy, he has been a very important artist to me and i hope that you can connect to his musc and words as i have.
I completely forgot about this album. I've heard one song off of it, I'll definitely go out and get it.
He is probably my favorite guitarist going right now. His live improvisations with the Chili Peppers is an amazingly huge influence on my playing.
