The Lakers face the surging Bulls tonight. The Bulls were struggling, but Ben Wallace has been an absolute terror the last few games, including a 27 rebound performance.

The Lakers are coming off an embarrassing loss to the Wizards and the defense didn't bother showing up. The Lakers will be tested on the road tonight, and I expect them to be fired up for this game.

These past few games, I've noticed a scary trend for this Laker team. We are constantly getting off to slow starts and having to play catch up. Every other game we come out flat and teams go into the locker room with double digit leads. Kobe Bryant then has to take over and shoot the Lakers back into a game. This trend has to end tonight, the Lakers must take control of the game and take the crowd out early.

This is game one of our brutal six game road streak. The team needs to come out focused, because playing catch up on the road usually results in a loss.

The Bulls are another team who likes to get out and run and doesn't think twice about shooting open threes. The Lakers will need to control the glass and have a body on Ben Wallace all night long.

The Lakers should consider playing Ronny Turiaf heavy minutes or go with a power lineup of Kwame and Bynum in the starting rotation.

I say we attack Ben Wallace. Get in the paint, attack Big Ben and make him pick off those fouls. Kwame and Bynum have good improving post games should look to them on the inside and Kobe + Smush guys that can drive to the basket should get in there while Big Ben lies there waiting.

Also yes, because we are on the road we should get hot early mentality. Get hot, build a lead and play defense. The simple forumal of basketball.

Why did Phil yank out Kwame and replace him with Bynum when Kwame was on??? Im not understanding. Kobe is playing terrible tonight btw... So many turnovers and bad FG% Kobe is 0-5 from beyond the arc.. pull him out for a bit to regroup!!

terrible. Kobe fouls out. Lakers lead the entire first half only to go down the end of the third and let it slip away...

Don't worry. You might be able to get past the 1st round in the playoffs.

Fans like you really irk me. No one said anything about the Suns so there was no point of you to start flaming the thread. Either say something relevant to the game or do us all a favor, and shut up.

Yes, quite a play on my name there.

Well, since I RARELY (and I mean RARELY) visit the Suns board, and don't personally state idiotic things with no connection to anything in the thread randomly, I wouldn't know what you're talking about.

If some Laker fans do leave some random one-liners about how the Suns suck or something, then report it. No need to come in here and act just as stupid as the Lakers fans you mentioned.

If you guys are so great and championship contenders, I would think you could atleast beat the Bulls. You guys b*tch and say we've only played bad teams this year when you can't even beat those teams.

    kris13nash,
Stay out of the thread. Plain and simple. The Suns weren't even mentioned in here and you come in here and bait. If I see another post against guidelines, you'll see another infraction.

    Laker fans, ignore him.
