How fitting would it be if united won the premiership on goal difference! the ultimate poetic justice! At this stage of the season anything is a possibility and i am no longer going to make bold predictions, as sitting on the fence is far easier. But i could think of no finer award for united's mesmeric attacking football than this occuring. It would be the ultimate justice, the ultimate occassion of attacking flamboyant football prospering over "grinding" out results. United being rewarded for their method of football in the best possible way, chelsea's style being punished in the cruelest of fashions I respect what chelsea are doing at the moment, but that is it, only respect. United have entertained and inspired football fans up and down the country this year, regardless of who you support. It would be very fitting if this was the determining factor in the destination of the premiership title!
Since you seem to want justice involved, i think it would be delightful for ronnie to give away a penalty for what turned out in the replays to be a clear John Terry dive. As it is his second yellow he has to go off, which he does but in his fury kicks out at a TV camera left by the Beeb engineer near the technical area. His fury turns to pain with the realisation that he has broken two toes in his left foot, as a result leaving him unable to play in Athens. Now that sort of Justice would be my particular cup of tea, the type you drink while wearing a strongly tinted pair of shades. In my case the hue would poetically match the heavens, a natural blue.
