I am sick of this shit of not knowing his status. No one is talking. No one knows ANYTHING, and he's the guy that can push the team from a "fringe contender" to a legitimate threat in the West.

Can someone please break through the brick wall of silence and find out ANYTHING???

It's one thing to avoid putting a time table on his return, but it's another entirely to not disclose his "setback". Seriously, has anyone ever heard of any player (let alone a #1 pick), in any sport, not disclosing what the injury keeping him out is?

The Blazers really do treat us like idiots sometimes.

My inside sources tell me the setback is his knee.

It would be great if Greg and the Blazers would give us an update on this. Just by way of recap, the initial announcement of the setback by the Blazers was that Greg's exam prior to the start of the season showed an issue with a non-weight bearing ligament that they thought would cause instability in his knee. They said that they were still hopeful but less confident that he would play this year. Greg was reported to have no symptoms from the ligament issue, but team doctors wee concerned with the fragility of the ligament.

Given the total news blackout, my best guess (and it's only that) is that they are giving the ligament some time to see if therapy can get it to the point that they are confident about letting Greg get back on the court. If it works, we'll probably see him play sometime this season. If not, I'd guess again that he's looking at another surgery to fix the ligament, in which case this season is not happening for Greg.

IMO he can't or won't be able to do anything, just forget about him, IMO that is the best way to handle the situation, I have totally written him off and simply don't give a shit.

Is it too much to ask for a once in a generation center? Kidding but I still cant help but root for the guy. It almost (ALMOST) to the point where I want to see him succeed for him more than anything.

You really have to wonder. Is PA that tone deaf.....or does he just hate us? What is he gaining from this?

He spent the summer living the NBA lifestyle hitting the clubs in L.A. like no tomorrow.

But he's on track after his latest setback.

    Joy.
