Wouldn't it be nice if Minny did pull off a deal sending (for the record, I have no problem with McCants, just thinking about the team needs) McCants to Toronta for TJ Ford. Minny can then concentrate on trying to sign Monta Ellis (restricted), Salim Stoudamire (resricted) or even Shannon Brown (UNRESRICTED) And as for getting Al a big to help him inside there are a couple good bigs who will be free-agents as well in D. Diop (UNRESTRICTED) and Paul Millsap (restricted) But before doing that, Buy-out Walker or trade em for a second rounder. He's not doing anything to help our club if he stays....until next year when his 9 mil contract drops off our books.
I wonder if McCants is enough to acquire TJ though. He's still got a long way to go to be a starter on a solid team. I don't see him as an upgrade to Parker either.
Ford makes $8M while McCants is making around $2M. I doubt Ford is the player Minny would burn all their cap space for. Also, Ford is tons better than McCants. Toronto would have to decide that they want to dump Ford for cap space to pull this trade.

Walker would play for Toronto since it's a contender not to mention that after next year Walker's contract is a team option, so if Toronto doesn't want him they can let him go and pick up his 9 mil in cap room
