I do like this move tho.</div> If Gold is truly injury free, this would be a decent pickup. As for Cooper, does speedy include decent cover skills? If so, this would work out well. He is probably on the light side for a LB, so SS seems like a good fit if he can cover. Then they shouldn't be able to miss a beat without Lynch (at least scheme-wise anyway).
I guess cooper played strong saftey before being converted from what ive heard. He still must beat out jermaine phillips who the coaches think would be the man to beat. Yep i read some reports and it is now why tampa chose to pass up on dj williams. However nothing is certain and im still not sure why we took ohio st's saftey if this is a lock. will allen is supposivley high on the list as well. If gold is the player he was in denver before he was hurt he will fit in well with our speedy linebackers.
