The Portland Trail Blazers waived center Vladimir Stepania. The 7-foot, 244-pound Stepania saw action in one 2004-05 pre-season game, scoring 11 points and grabbing seven rebounds in only 15 minutes of action on October 27th vs. Toronto, before being placed on the Injured List. <a href="http://www.nba.com/blazers/news/Trail_Blazers_Waive_Vladimir_S-127041-41.html" target="_blank">http://www.nba.com/blazers/news/Trail_Blazers_Waive_Vladimir_S-127041-41.html ://http://www.nba.com/blazers/news/Tra...1-41.html </a> Here we could get a big man that has a decent touch around the basket, plus rebounding. We always need more since Robinson and Davis could be trade bait. He's not known as a shotblocker but he's a decent pickup considering he's the best FA center out there now.
You are all about the Euros aren't you? haha. I have never watched this kid play so I cant tell you if we should pick him up or not. It would be nice to have someone over 6-10. That being said, I would not mind taking a look at him, but if we signed him we would have to get rid of someone. Who would that be? Most likely Flores. I dont see Mullin getting rid of Flores since he was one of the players he was most excited about in the Damp deal...
