Washington has won 8 straight with Larry Hughes in the lineup, and I really think that will continue. I will take Washington in this one 104-94. Good games from Larry, Arenas, and Kwame...Jamison will struggle.

Good preview. Thanks for making it. The Warriors will win. J-Rich will blow up and Davis will have 15 points and 10 assists [IMG]

Nice, preview. Now that we got somebody who is 6'3 to match up with Gilbert Arenas, I think it gives us a chance to shutdown Washington's main offensive weapon. I just don't think we have an answer for Jamison and unless Foyle shows up, Dampier part II and Kwame might ending up getting season highs. Opposing forwards always get season highs against us.

Kwame will not start, I doubt he will be playing much. The last Wizards game I saw, he didn't start and that was against the Bulls. I think Jarvis Hayes may have a good game, but the Warriors will win.

Wrong. Let me do the previews [IMG]

Kwame has started two games in a row, and will start this one also. He isn't producing much because he is basically on his 3rd game this season, knocking the rust off..

Jarivs and Jared Jeffries are out..

I figured a Wizards Fan would be following the team more than a Bulls fan, but thanks both of you for contributing to the forum [IMG]

If Baron's legs are not 100%,covering the ultra Quick Arenas will be tough, however, the Warriors in the last 12 games were very close in all but 2-plus,they often look pretty good against East teams. Either way it will be like a Warriors varsity vs Alumni game which has to be fun

^Yea its definitly going to be a good game. But the Wizards are are unbeatable at home pretty much, so I expect the Wizards to pull this one out.

I'll give the Wizards the benefit of the doubt because of their bigs (Etan Thomas, Brendan Haywood, and some of Kwame Brown). Also Arenas, Hughes, Jamison are all former Warriors looking to play extra hard. W's can win it if they capitalize on turnovers, play defense, look to run, and if they shoot 3's they better make them and get back on defense if they miss and go long to the other team.

Mmm... It will be a very interesting game between two offensive minded team, or rather two teams that abandoned defense [IMG]. Whatever I see Wiz, I wonder what could we have done in East. Can you imagine what Wiz can do if you throw Dampier, Foyle and Murphy in that team?

Also, relationship with Wiz's big 3 is very intersting as well.

`Hughes was arguably Saint's biggest achievement, because Saint beat out 20 teams and gave up practically nothing (7th pick and Starks' salary slot) for Hughes, but Saint also replaced Hughes by drafting Richardson. Now, two players are having career best year with similar stat.

`Arenas was abandoned by Cohan, because Cohan didn't want to committ max to Arenas and probably wanted to bring the expense down. Then, Cohan went shopping spree and decided to take Davis' max contract. There is no question that Arenas is a better scorer and Davis is a better PG. And, they are also having excellent careers so far.

`Jamison was abandoned by Mullin, because of his payroll and Dunleavy. Then, Mullin fumbled big time by signing Foyle and Fisher in Jamison's salary slot, and it didn't help that Dunleavy played horribly in first half. Fortunately for us, Dunleavy played nicely in second half, and Jamison has slowed down a bit, so it looks little better than the beginning of the season.

It will be a fun game...

I've been looking forward to this game since the W's picked up BD. It's going to definitely be a good game. Arenas v. Davis, Hughes v. Richardson, Jamison v. Dunleavy...

Like REREM said, Alumni v. Varsity.

By the way, nice preview Kobe 8 Ball. Happy Gilmore was/is Adam Sandler's greatest achievement.

Is anyone on the West coast going to be able to watch this thing live? Its difficult to cheer and work at the same time, at least it starts at 4pm and not 11 am.

    Go W's!

OF NOTE: Point guard Baron Davis was not with the team for practice Thursday. He returned home to Los Angeles to be with his ill grandmother. The Warriors are uncertain whether he will return in time for today's game.

Man oh man, I was just looking at JR's 3 point shooting over the last 6 games: 22 of 43 for 51%. Damn. I sure hopes he keeps this up!

In tonights game, we are in trouble if Baron doesn't show, but we will play them tough either way.

Dammit! Why did Baron's granny have to get sick? We need Baron!!! I hope Baron can return in time. If he can't we are dead. With Fisher and Dunleavy playing point, that means we can see a lot of Biedrins playing PF [IMG]

What's going on with all of these tough calls in our favor? The referees must be confused since the throwback jerseys don't say 'Warriors' anywhere on them. [IMG]
