    Trevor Cahill figures he owes his latest victory to the defensive exploits of his right fielder. Having a guy like Paul Goldschmidt in the lineup helps too.

    Goldschmidt broke out of a slump with two hits and two RBIs to help the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the San Francisco Giants 4-2 on Thursday night.
