Not sure who here are golfers, or fans of watching, but today I lost a good friend. Rosie will be missed…..
I'm sorry but that elephant has been dead for decades. By the way, can anyone except me remember the old zoo? Sly, HomerLovesKoolAid and two others in here that I know love to golf especially Homer who's father was the golf pro at a renowned private golf course in Oregon. Ask him what his son has been up to on the golf course lately and you'll get a very pleasant eye popping reply. His son is another one whom I'd love to adopt for more reasons than golf.
Worked at a golf course for a side gig while in Florida and saw a lot of that guy when I was working the club house. Sorry for your loss and the loss to the sport.
Worked with and got to become friends with alot of "golf people" during that time. There were your stereotypical country club snobs, but a ton of great guys. Rosie was one of em. Sending love out to his family.
Ya he wasn’t on main tournament coverage much. More in depth pieces and analysis. Great guy. I sat at a table with him, Van Pelt and Tirico talking hoops at the US Open at Olympic in San Francisco during a rain delay. There was one other at the table who was too cool to acknowledge me…. Jim Gray! Dickhead that one is.
