    GAME 1: Panathinaikos 100 - Maccabi Tel Aviv 96 (OT)

    The Greeks advanced to the cup finals. Carlos Arroyo led Maccabi, who got off to an 11-2 start, with 21 points but lost the ball in the final seconds of overtime, with Panathinaikos leading 98-96 after scoring a three. Sarunas Jasikevicius had a chance to win the game in regular time but his shot was off target.

    Game 2: CSKA 81 - Zalgiris 83

    The cup hosts, CSKA, played well in the 1st half and led by 5 at halftime, but Zalgiris didn't give up and eventually built up a 4 point lead, 0.7 seconds to the end of the game. JR Holden hit a miracle three pointer for the Russians, but it wasn't enough and his team was left defeated and shocked. Zalgiris will meet Panathinaikos in the finals.

    Lot's of former NBA players on those 4 teams: Arroyo, Woods, Khryapa, Planinic, Jasikevicius, Morris, Spanoulis, Batista...

    Eliyahu's draft rights belong to the Rockets, I think.

    Casspi will get picked in the 09 Draft.

    Pekovic's rights belong to the Wolves. He plays for Panathinaikos, but didn't suit up for the game.

    losing papaloukas is gonna hurt cska more than it'll look like on paper.

    I totally agree KC. Papaloukas's stats didn't even come close to show important he was to CSKA. He was a leader, respected by everyone, and his impact on the game (especially in the most important moments) was unrivaled.
