so true...it just would have been so much sweeter last year if the bug hadn't hit...i'm just hoping that the first 10 seasons were cursed by the statement richardson made by promising a SB champion within 10 years, and that the curse is over now...there certainly have been some major setbacks this first decade...hope the worst has past and the best is yet to come
i think this team is the best of all of the panther teams. Jake Delhomme is a whole lot better than he was in 03, he also has better WRs and i think we have a better line than we did in 03. Our D line is great now because Peppers learned how to be dominat, and our linebackers and secondary are better than 03
not having stuessie on the left side is a major improvement in and of itself for the o-line...our d-line is more experienced now than in '03, but as of right now, i can't agree our WR corps is better...Gardner & Colbert will have to show something more for me to say either is better than Muhammed...remember, a lot of the running game that year was attributable to Moose's down field blocking...that made him that much more valuable to the team...not to say i don't think Gardner & Colbert aren't good...Colbert was tremendous last year, and Gardner, if consistent, will open our offense a lot...as for the LB's & secondary, they are better this year, especially the secondary... on paper, it looks like the panthers will be coming hard at other teams this year...hope it works out that way...
yea they have a great chance at winning the super bowl, but i wish we would have kept deion grant in 03, because i really liked that guy.
